BANOFFEE PIE

Hallo meine Lieben,

My skincare routine

Hello out there,

hope y’all are doing good. I get a lot of questions about my skin because it looks “so clear” and stuff. So first of all I don’t think it is perfect and it was better some years ago when I skipped on dairy products. Every now and then I eat some cheese or parmesan etc., but still – I try to avoid it as much as possible because of my endometriosis in the first place.

However I also take “good” care of my skin I think. I think what really helps a lot, is doing sports and sweating – sounds weird but I feel when you’re sweating you are also sweating out all toxins. I don’t know, but if feels for me that way. Since I also got a bit lazy this year I can see that my skin is not that “perfect” anymore.

I know that a lot of people struggle with really bad skin and I know that feeling because when I was 19teen I had really the worst skin ever. Biggest pimples all over my face. I don’t really think that I have photos from that time because I couldn’t look into the mirror, but I will try to find some and do an update. I never struggled with bad skin in puberty and as you can imagine it was really weird to have a skin like this when you are actually out of puberty. However every bad story has a happy end I guess and it got better…

Now let’s go back to my skincare routine. Of course I don’t do all of that every single day… But one thing I always do is removing my make up no matter what time it is or how drunk I am after a party haha. I think it is the most important thing. I also clean it for several times to make sure everything is removed and wash it with some water afterwards. Furthermore I don’t wear make up often. I really have a lot of make up products for a person who doesn’t wear make up every day, but that’s the way it is. I only wear make up when I go out or when I know I take pictures. Also in summer when it is hot an you are sweating a lot I think that it is bad for your skin because heat opens up your pores and all the make up and dirt gets into it and causes bad skin (in my opinion). It’s just because I see a lot of girls wearing make up while at the beach or at the gym you name it, which I think is not a good idea.

So what I really use for a long time now is my clarisonic mia 2 together with the clinique face soap (it’s kind of a gel) and I use the one for dry to combination skin some times a week. Some years ago I also had the tonic water and the moisture cream from that clinique series. I think that worked very well for me. What I am also using for years now is my MAC mineralize peeling (once or twice a week). I love this stuff it’s kind of a volcanic ash and my skin is so soft after that. After peeling my face or washing it with the clarisonic I use a moisture cream. At the moment I switched to the ultra facial cream from Kiehl’s, but I also love that skin smoothing cream from Dermalogica (this one’s almost empty). But as I said I used the clinique series for years which worked also great for me. For me it is actually important that it’s as natural as possible because I don’t like to put hormones on my face (because a lot of skin products have hormones in it). I also like to use some natural oils for the night and massage it with that rose quartz roller into my face and some times I like to use that serum on the left it’s a vegan brand called “alverde” but I think you can get this only in Austria and Germany which is basically a serum out of olives.

So in the morning I use a moisture cream (and also before I would put on make up) and in the night I love to use an oil or a serum (or some times nothing at all) depends how dry my skin is, because sometimes I think that the skin needs to breathe too.

I hope this helps a bit and if you have any questions just leave me a comment. 🙂

Beste Tomatensauce ever (vegan)

Bon Appétit

– Good evening ..

Hello peeps : )

I am finally ready for bed 😛 after I wrote this blogpost.

I managed it to go to the gym today and to sign up for an annual subscription… So there’s no going back. Hahaha

I am dead today and I think I will have sore muscles tomorrow – will see. 😛

Afterwards I had toast with avocado and salmon and now I am drinking ginger, lemon and honey infused hot water. So it’s actually like a tea only with ginger, lemon and honey hahaha.

It tastes pretty nice and I think it keeps me fit during the cold… 😛 anyways

I will do some outfit posts now and when I finish with the outfit posts I will do a blog post about Sardinia as this will be a lot of work. I will split this topic into three parts otherwise it will get too long.

So here we go .. this is an outfit I wore some time ago in the summer 🙂

Very simple and cute 😛 outfit details at the end of this post!

I am now off to bed as I need to wake up early in the morning .. 😛

talk to you soon

My Travel Tips for Barcelona

Hello peeps, so as I told you Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe. Barcelona includes beach, clubs, food and entertainment, so it never gets boring. This year was my second time in Barca and I definitely will go back soon as there is still so much to do there hehe.

So as I already said I was there two times now and I will put everything together what I know and which may be interested for you too if you decide to go there.

Of course I have still not seen everything I wanted! Next time I’d like to rent a car and to drive around Barcelona and also to lLoret de Mar for a beachparty haha 😀 or so 😛 at the end I will write a list with things I’d still like to do in Barca, but haven’t done yet.

1) Wander around La Boqueria

La Boqueria is really something special. There is a huge selection of various groceries such as fish or nuts. But I was especially impressed by the huge selection of sweets, fresh juices and various kinds of fruits and vegetables. It just looks so amazing and it is actually not that expensive compared to Austrian prices. You will find La Boqueria Mercat at Las Ramblas which is kind of the centre and there you have also a lot of restaurants and shops when you walk down the Ramblas. There are also some hotels.

2) Visit Park Güell

One of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona is Park Güell. It is especially great for running or doing some sports. But also for not so athletic people like me HAHA you have a great sea view from there and you can take some nice photos, I think when the sun goes down it must look really nice from up there. Park Güell is definitely worth a visit. The architecture of this park is also really interesting. The houses here look like gingerbread houses to me Idk why HAHA but looks pretty yummy hahaha when you ask me.

3) EAT!

There are lots of restaurants and lots of different dishes you can try in Barca, have dinner and Sangria at the beach (which can get a bit expensive), or go to W Hotel for a dinner. But you can also find in every corner a “Mercado” where you can get a warm baguette for example for 50 cent haha 😀 which is awesomeeeeeeee 😀 of course you have a big variety on fruits and healthy stuff. In Barca you get literally everywhere and at anytime FOOD which is perfect 😛

img_1039-horzimg_1494-horzimg_2622-horz

4) Watch the sunset at Barceloneta Beach

The most beautiful beaches in Barcelona are actually a bit outside of the city. Nevertheless, Barceloneta Beach is especially beautiful during sunset. The sky there shines in beautiful pastel colors.

img_2820img_3910

5) Go to the beach – anytime

Either you go for a swim or just to chill and drink a mojito or in the evening before going out it’s always pretty cool and the ambiance is pretty nice. I found out that the water is clearer near the W Hotel than there where the clubs are located, obviously people also throw a bit of trash there when drunk which won’t happen near the W Hotel in my opinion.

img_2581img_2833-horzimg_2882-horzimg_3909

6) Watch a soccer game of FC Barcelona

I am not a big fan of soccer, but the atmosphere was extraordinary haha really cool 😀 the Catalonians love their soccer team the stadium was full of people I think almost 100.000 people!! After the game we didn’t get a taxi so we had to walk for hours .. make sure to organize all that when heading to a match.

img_1216

7) Visit La Sagrada Familia

Very nice church from the inside, if you are interested in architecture and sightseeing, give it a try. The sun peeks thru all those beautiful colored windows hehe 🙂

img_1014-horzimg_1019-horz

8) Go to park de la ciutadella

Also a very nice park for a walk 🙂 looks very interesting 😀 don’t know the purpose of this park though haha

9) Go to clubs and bars

the Catalonian nightlife is crazy 😀 just be careful, such clubs such as “Pacha”, “Opium” etc. are very expensive. We were at club “Danza” which is also located at at the beach, but was pretty ok not too expensive and music also quite good 😀 and this year we also got the chance to go to the club “Eclipse” at the W Hotel in Barcelona. There you have a pretty nice view of the beach.

There are a lot of things you can do in Berlin, but here are some things I did and I think you shouldn’t miss when in Berlin.

1) Buy a ticket for the “S-Bahn” for your entire stay and drive around as much as you can. You can also walk a lot since everything is quite in the centre, well of course it depends on where you are situated, but buy only the zones A and B since C is already far from the centre you won’t need it.

2) Visit the Brandenburg Gate – by day and by night! Hehe and take photos of course.
