another outfit :)

Hello peeps!

there’s another fashion post from me! I wore this outfit when I was on vacation, but nevertheless here it is. I don’t think that you will still get these clothes, cause it’s already fall/winter, but anyway you can have a look for some inspiration! I’d love to hear a feedback from you guys and also what you’d like to read, if you are interested in product reviews, especially about make up cause I have tested almost every brand so far hahaha. Btw you can find the outfitdetails at the end of this post as always!

Visiting Austria ..

Hello friends!! 😀

Today I will write about some locations in Austria you should definitely visit! Of course you all know about the capital city Vienna. I will write soon a post only about Vienna as I am going to visit my girl Nadja at the end of October since she moved to Vienna lately and I haven’t seen her for a while.

I live in upper Austria and there are also a lot of nice places you can visit around here. Especially cute little towns and a beautiful lakes.

I will split this post because otherwise it will get too long with all the photos. I will pool together the places that are next to eachother 🙂 so that you get a good overview.

First of all I will begin with the „Salzkammergut“.

Halloooo Leute!! 😀

  1. Gmunden – Traunsee

You can go for a walk in Gmunden with a nice view oft he Traunsee, perfect to take some beautiful shots. Here you have also some good restaurants, bars or cafés. In summer it is extra nice since you can rent a boat and explore the lake on your own. You can also go swimming which is pretty cool. You can also go hiking at the „Grünberg“ which is not that difficult and you can also take kids with you or your dog. The „Traunstein“ is more for the more experienced hikers. You can also go to the „Schloss Orth“ which is kind of a castle, only very small. Couples can get married here. It is a nice background for photos as well and there is also a café here.

Boat excursion – Bootstour 🙂

  1. Almsee or Lake Alm

Is located in the Almtal valley. You will need a car or a bike to get there, but the lake looks very nice, clear and sometimes even mystic – nice to shoot some photos there and also vey nice for a walk. I wouldn’t recommend to swim in this lake tho as the lake is extremly cold even in summer! It’s like the coldest like I’ve been in so far.

  1. Hallstatt

Hallstatt is the classic among Asians, but it is really a cute town you will definitely like it here as well hehe. Very nice panorama. Great for photography as well – so if you are a hobby photographer this place is great for you. Here you have cute little restaurants and cafés. Souvenir shops and grocery stores are opened on Sundays which is not usually in Austria, but Hallstatt is a very touristic town that’s why. In smaller cities you won’t find shops opened on a Sunday. You can go to Hallstatt by trian from Attnang-Puchheim and enjoy the view from the train.

  1. Langbathseen

Another lake which is also situated in the Salzkammergut. There you will find two mountain lakes which are also very nice. You can go swimming and diving on hot summer days. The water is here also pretty clear and has some interesting colors.

  1. Attersee and Nixenfall

Last but not least another lake it is called the „Attersee“ and it is probably the most famous and best known lake in upper Austria. There are always many tourists in the summer especially the first and second week of August is full of Germans here haha. A lot of them go camping. You can also go diving here and swimming. There is the bathing place which is called „Litzlberg“ where especially young people go – there you will find a beach volleyball field and also a bar and toilets. Sailing and boat trips are also very popular among Austrians. From there you can visit the “Nixenfall”, which is a kind of a mini waterfall – but looks very nice, see my pictures below.

I hope you liked my post about the “Salzkammergut” 🙂 there will be another posts including Vienna, Salzburg etc.

Last post about Sardinia ..

Hello boys and girls 🙂

So this is the last post about my holiday in Sardinia .. It’s about „Cagliari“ as I already mentioned in my last post.. Cagliari is a nice, lively town located in the south of Sardinia .. I will show you some photos of the food we ate with the restaurants mentioned below and my opinion about the restaurants. You will definitely need a car here as well, just remember that the Italians drive like crazy so go with someone who has steady nerves hahah. Parking is actually pretty simple in Sardinia if there is a white line you can park your car for free, if it’s a blue line you have to buy a parking ticket, but it is not that expensive like in Austria for example. The Italians are very chaotic drivers and they really like to hoot the car horn hhahaha just drive as crazy as they do and everything will be fine 😛

we went like 2 times here because there was an all you can eat buffet for 20 € and you were allowed to order everything from the menu! hahaha so good . the name of the restaurant is “Mi”.

the food tasted sooooo fresh here!! it was just amazing.

“Pizzeria Floris” in Cagliari, we found this on tripadvisor, they rated this pizza as the best in town – and it really was I’ve never eaten such a good pizza! 😀 we were actually never disappointed with the food in Cagliari!

Sushi at the restaurant “Mi”.

In Cagliari you can visit the „Poetto“ beach. There are some bars at the beach, but I didn’t liked it how the water looks like there as it is a city beach it is not comparable with the bays or other beaches in Sardinia. We were always driving away to seek for a nice beach of course you have to drive up to 2 hours to get there, but it’s much better. We went for example to Villasiumius and Teulada beach. Once we just went a little bit outside of Cagliari and parked our car off-street and walked thru a field to get to the „beach“ haha this was not a beautiful beach, but we just wanted to get some tan and to jump into the sea for several times before dinner…

Sardinia part II ! :)

Hey fellows…

Sorry for not posting lately, but here is the second part about Sardinia. 😀 So this part is about the eastern area of the island. This area is full of cute little bays, some of them are only accessible on foot. But it’s worth it every centimeter haha although it’s not that easy. I would suggest you to book an appartment or a room in „Baunei“ from there you can drive (YES you will always need a car in Sardinia unless you are a very sportive person and can cycle every path haha just kidding) so you drive to „Su Golgo“ there you can leave your car and you can walk to Cala Goloritzé which is the most beautiful bay I’ve seen so far. The water there was unreal and so clear and blue 😀 everything’s written down actually, but you have to keep your eyes open, because you probably won’t see it at first where to go, usually there are always some tourists you can ask as well hehe this shouldn’t be the problem.

For the hike I would recommend really good shoes, but we have also seen a girl in flip flops haha if you are a hiker this shouldn’t be a problem. Bring a lot of water with you and if you ask me go in the morning when it’s not that hot and not at noontime when the sun is burning down as we did haha, but we are still alive so it’s okay ahahah 😀 you have to go like 1,5 hours to get there, which is quiet ok as we took some breaks. You have to bring also some money with you I don’t know anymore, but I think it was like 5€ per person to be allowed to go to the bay and to go swimming – you will get a ticket and there will stand some guys to check if you have one. Check below the photos of „Cala Goloritzé“… 🙂

In 2015 I was also situated in „Baunei“and from there we booked a boat trip to some bays. We started at the port of „Santa Maria Navaresse“. Back then we went among others to „Cala Luna“ and „Cala Mariolu“…this time we stayed there only for 2 nights and the first day we arrived pretty late so we just went for dinner and straight to bed 😛 we also wanted to catch up some sleep so we slept for a long time the next day and then went for the hiking tour to „Cala Goloritzé“.I will show you a lot of photos from „Cala Goloritzé“ because it was marvellous there. You should definitely go there in the morning as you have to start to hike back at around 5 pm otherwise it will get too dark.

This was actually my post about the eastern part of Sardinia. After the hike we just went home cooked something and packed our stuff together as we left „Baunei“ in the morning and drove to „Cagliari“ – the „capital city“ of Sardinia if you want so… Cagliari is also pretty cool especially the food was AMAZING – in my next post I will tell you about that!

Also see you soon! 🙂

Xx. Lo.

Sardinia part 1 !

Hallo meine Lieben,

Hello peeps,

as promised my post about Sardinia. I will split this post into three parts otherwise it would get too long, because I have so many photos. I will also write in English and German, so you can choose either you wanna read in German or English hehe. First I will tell you about the North and the „Costa Smeralda“, then I will write about the east coast of Sardinia and last but not least about the southern part and Cagliari.

We drove along the coast of Sardinia therefore we could explore different beaches. Our first stop was Alghero. From there we rent a car because you can totally forget to get along in Sardinia without a car. Haha that’s my biggest advice for Sardinia: to rent a car! I know it is very expensive to rent a car in Europe if you are younger than 25, but without a car you can’t explore Sardinia at all. I also advise to bring your own GPS with you as it is very expensive to rent one on site.

Alghero is situated in the North of Sardinia, the north and east coast is really gorgeous. In the north you can find sandy beaches with crystal clear water. We slept in a boat at the port of Alghero which sounds nice, but in the end it was a very small sized boat and we didn’t sleep all night, but when we arrived in Alghero we went directly to Stintino, there we found a very nice beach called „La Pelosa“. We stayed there until evening. In the evening we were looking for dinner. We walked around the port of Alghero and there we found some restaurants, we were already very hungry so we just took the first restaurant haha 😀 Every food I ate there was pretty good, but I will talk later about my Foodporn experience 🙂 hehe.

For the second day I booked a day trip to „La Maddalena – Archipelago“ this is a national park with some islands where you go by boat and where you can lay on the beach and go snorkeling. There are only sandy beaches which I like very much.. In fact the northern area of Sardinia is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. You may have seen already some videos on Facebook about „La Maddalena“. I can really recommend such a boat trip! At La Maddalena itself you can walk through some cute shops or go for a snack. Just have a look at all the photos from La Maddalena…

This was the first part of my Sardinia post. I hope you like the photos as much as I do. Have you ever been to Sardinia? I’d like to hear about in the comments.

My Travel Tips for Barcelona

Hello peeps, so as I told you Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe. Barcelona includes beach, clubs, food and entertainment, so it never gets boring. This year was my second time in Barca and I definitely will go back soon as there is still so much to do there hehe.

So as I already said I was there two times now and I will put everything together what I know and which may be interested for you too if you decide to go there.

Of course I have still not seen everything I wanted! Next time I’d like to rent a car and to drive around Barcelona and also to lLoret de Mar for a beachparty haha 😀 or so 😛 at the end I will write a list with things I’d still like to do in Barca, but haven’t done yet.

1) Wander around La Boqueria

La Boqueria is really something special. There is a huge selection of various groceries such as fish or nuts. But I was especially impressed by the huge selection of sweets, fresh juices and various kinds of fruits and vegetables. It just looks so amazing and it is actually not that expensive compared to Austrian prices. You will find La Boqueria Mercat at Las Ramblas which is kind of the centre and there you have also a lot of restaurants and shops when you walk down the Ramblas. There are also some hotels.

img_0634-horzimg_1032-horzimg_2858-horzimg_2860-horz

2) Visit Park Güell

One of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona is Park Güell. It is especially great for running or doing some sports. But also for not so athletic people like me HAHA you have a great sea view from there and you can take some nice photos, I think when the sun goes down it must look really nice from up there. Park Güell is definitely worth a visit. The architecture of this park is also really interesting. The houses here look like gingerbread houses to me Idk why HAHA but looks pretty yummy hahaha when you ask me.

fullsizerender-18img_3125img_3143-2img_3146

3) EAT!

There are lots of restaurants and lots of different dishes you can try in Barca, have dinner and Sangria at the beach (which can get a bit expensive), or go to W Hotel for a dinner. But you can also find in every corner a “Mercado” where you can get a warm baguette for example for 50 cent haha 😀 which is awesomeeeeeeee 😀 of course you have a big variety on fruits and healthy stuff. In Barca you get literally everywhere and at anytime FOOD which is perfect 😛

img_1039-horzimg_1494-horzimg_2622-horz

4) Watch the sunset at Barceloneta Beach

The most beautiful beaches in Barcelona are actually a bit outside of the city. Nevertheless, Barceloneta Beach is especially beautiful during sunset. The sky there shines in beautiful pastel colors.

img_2820img_3910

5) Go to the beach – anytime

Either you go for a swim or just to chill and drink a mojito or in the evening before going out it’s always pretty cool and the ambiance is pretty nice. I found out that the water is clearer near the W Hotel than there where the clubs are located, obviously people also throw a bit of trash there when drunk which won’t happen near the W Hotel in my opinion.

img_2581img_2833-horzimg_2882-horzimg_3909

6) Watch a soccer game of FC Barcelona

I am not a big fan of soccer, but the atmosphere was extraordinary haha really cool 😀 the Catalonians love their soccer team the stadium was full of people I think almost 100.000 people!! After the game we didn’t get a taxi so we had to walk for hours .. make sure to organize all that when heading to a match.

img_1216

7) Visit La Sagrada Familia

Very nice church from the inside, if you are interested in architecture and sightseeing, give it a try. The sun peeks thru all those beautiful colored windows hehe 🙂

img_1014-horzimg_1019-horz

8) Go to park de la ciutadella

Also a very nice park for a walk 🙂 looks very interesting 😀 don’t know the purpose of this park though haha

9) Go to clubs and bars

the Catalonian nightlife is crazy 😀 just be careful, such clubs such as “Pacha”, “Opium” etc. are very expensive. We were at club “Danza” which is also located at at the beach, but was pretty ok not too expensive and music also quite good 😀 and this year we also got the chance to go to the club “Eclipse” at the W Hotel in Barcelona. There you have a pretty nice view of the beach.

Things to do in Paris <3

If you are going to Paris there are plenty of things you can do, but if you are only for a short time there like I was (2 days only) it is a bit stressful, but of course there are some things which you should do! Paris is such a photogenic city and so lovely, but in my opinion only in the centre. Out of Paris it’s not that perfect, but which megacity is it? I also wouldn’t consider Paris as the city of love – I don’t know in summer it just felt like there were millions of people everywhere which is not that romantic in my opinion, but everyone sees things different. But of course for taking photos it is really the perfect spot. Well this was not my last time in Paris that’s for sure! 🙂 as I’m dreaming of a wedding proposal on the Eiffel Tower someday HAHA 😀

Well now let’s talk about what I was doing while in Paris 😛 hehe

OF COURSE you have to go up on the Eiffel Tower, well let’s say take the elevator haha you can also use the stairs, but it is quite exhausting, so make sure you are in a good condition not like me hehe & if you are afraid of heights I also would use the elevator anyway there are always a lot of people, but the view by night is just awesome and totally worth it. Make sure to book in advance otherwise you will have to wait in the line for a loooong time! Before you enter the line I took a pic with my gopro in front of the Eiffel Tower from below. I thought I will just try it because I haven’t seen it on screen until we got home, but it ended up pretty nice as you can see. From below I also took only a pic of the Eiffel Tower which I edited  a lil bit, but I think it looks so cute with all the stars haha

Next to the ‘Pont d’Iéna’. You can take pictures with trees from the street or walk down and take pictures from the river level Like here:

The best spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower is the “Palais du Trocadéro” in my opinion. For taking nice photos like fashion pics, or couple pics or something 🙂 and it’s for free, but in summer there were like Thousands of people haha

If you have some extra money left haha joke it’s not that expensive, buy a ticket to enter on top of the Arc de Triomphe and go upstairs … the view from there is also amazing and you get to see also the Champs Elysees, but there are also A LOT OF STAIRS haha and it is very narrow so make sure you bring a bottle of water with you not to feel dizzy.

img_2056img_2058img_2066img_3835img_3845img_3877

Walking down the Champs Elysees is soo nice as all the stores there look so neat and cute and all those designer stores OMG just way too beautiful. In all those alleys you will find a lot of restaurants. We had a pizza which was quite expensive, but that’s normal in the centre of Paris particularly next to the Champs Elysees, but I was on vacation and hungry and the Pizza was very delicious so never mind. I don’t like thinking about money when on vacation as I like to enjoy every minute 😛

img_1879img_1881img_1887img_1886

Walk to the “Pont Neuf” which means new bridge, but actually it’s the oldest non renovated one in Paris above the river “Seine” there you will also find all the love locks 😛 and if you go there as a couple mount one too on the bridge. Hehe probably most of those people are not even a couple anymore, but you will forever be reminded as one on an old bridge 😀

img_2186We also visited the Louvre but haven’t entered the museum as we booked it in advance on “getyourguide” which always worked great for me, but in Paris not at all. So we spent like 70€ 2 persons for entering the Louvre museum, but didn’t got our tickets immediately so to cut a long story short we couldn’t get in as we didn’t found the ticket seller because it was described very complicated in my opinion.

To end the day properly I liked chilling in a hammock on our balcony and watching the sunset, with a view on the Sacre Coeur.

The next post will be about one of my favorite cities ever 😀 I will tell you more later 🙂

15 Things to-do in Berlin

There are a lot of things you can do in Berlin, but here are some things I did and I think you shouldn’t miss when in Berlin.

img_1690

1) Buy a ticket for the “S-Bahn” for your entire stay and drive around as much as you can. You can also walk a lot since everything is quite in the centre, well of course it depends on where you are situated, but buy only the zones A and B since C is already far from the centre you won’t need it.

2) Visit the Brandenburg Gate – by day and by night! Hehe and take photos of course.

3) Chill at the Berliner Dome enjoy the atmosphere, very nice in the summer at the fountain.

4) Visit the “Reichstag” Building and ask old Italian women to take photos haha 😀 they will do so but in the end they didn’t took any picture.

Interrail .

Hello there! 🙂

How to plan an Interrail trip? In this post I will tell you everything you need to know before starting such a trip. Interrail is a way of travelling by train, so it is supposed to be a bargain. In fact this trip was really not expensive if you are an economical person haha. So I was on the road with 4 friends for a little bit more than two weeks and visited about 9 cities in Europe. So this trip was a win, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind before starting a trip like this. I will list them below.

  1. So the first thing before packing for your vacation is DO YOU REALLY WANT TO TRAVEL LIKE THAT? You have to ask yourself and to keep in mind that it can get really exhausting and that you are travelling for really long hours by train. I travelled like 5 hours by train some years ago in Austria and that was really long for me but when you travel across Europe you will travel like up to 9-10 hours. I am such a person who falls asleep very hard so I was sometimes awake up to 40 hours until we got in our apartment to get some sleep. If you are sure you can survive this or you can fall asleep everywhere then there you go 😛 or you can also book like overnight train with a sleeper
  2. If you plan such a trip you also have to make sure that your body is fit enough. Usually I have also circulation problems, but during these 2 weeks everything went well, thank God, I only had some problems with my menstruation as I got them one week too late because of the weather conditions and because of the stress as you are almost every day somewhere else. So don’t freak out.
  3. This is also a very important point. If you take such a trip by your own or as a couple – OK, but when you travel as a group you really have to make sure that you go with the right persons 😉
It can be really annoying if you travel with people who are completely different to you.
  4. We also flew 2 times which is not usual in a rail trip, but as we found cheap flights by Ryanair we booked them and saved some time. I think if we would not have flown to those destinations we would have been by now really dead as the distances were very long. So that’s why we could only bring a backpack in hand luggage size with us and had to take care because of our liquids (you know how flying works).. if you don’t fly it is easier for you to get along with the packing.
  5. Packing – OH MY GOD, as you know hand luggage size is really small haha I took a backpack as it is easier to carry with you and my handbag. In my backpack I started with a pair of black sandals which I can wear to almost every outfit, then I bought some panties and some cheap socks (some of them I threw away to have more space), one pair of shorts, 2 dresses, one black skirt (black is always a good idea as it matches almost every other color), a pajama, like 10 tops (I rolled my clothes so they were very small) and carry a jacket with you if it’s cold outside. I forgot my Ralph Lauren jacket in a toilet in Milan HAHA I could cryyyy! 😀 I really could bring a lot of things with me on this journey the only thing I didn’t pack were towels, so make sure your hotel / apartments provide towels because they take a lot of space! My cameras, phones, wallet and documents were in my handbag.
  6. Bring a book or music with you to kill time 😛
  7. Book everything in advance and make sure to print it all out and make notes with important information like phone numbers etc. & also download specific apps like the interrail app so you can always check when your train leaves (this works also without wi-fi). 🙂
  8. Choose a nice route and plan enough time for that place. For example we stayed 4 days in Milan, in my opinion way too long for a city like Milan in August where it is hot af.. anyways. 😛
  9. Drink a lot of water and always carry water bottles with you. And make sure you don’t sit all the time also not in the train. Walk around from time to time! 😛
  10. Have fun and be happy! 😀 it’s not the easiest way of travelling but it is an awesome experience and you get to see a lot, so enjoy it and live it up.

These were the most important tips from my point of view, if there is anything else coming to my mind what I could tell you I will let you know.

Cheers and have a nice evening!

Xx. Lo.

Back @ home

Hello world!

I am back at home from my 2 weeks Interrail trip. Interrail is a form of travelling by train and we travelled around in Europe. I can now post again as I didn’t had the chance to do it on my vacation since I was backpacking 😛 YEEEEEES right! I only carried a backpack with me and my handbag 😛 FOR 2 WEEKS HAHA and my backpack had also to fit in the airplane as a hand luggage since we flew 2 times 😛 but actually it worked pretty well .. my mum helped me to put all my clothes I wanted to bring with me in the backpack and I had also enough space for my make-up, cameras, a pair of shoes and so on… When I was in Berlin and in Barcelona I sent a package home with some stuff I bought and some dirty clothes haha so I had even more space when I was on my way home .. I will do a lot of posts in the next few weeks about my Interrail trip as it was an experience which I think everyone should do just to try somebody’s patience hahaha .. and just to learn how to survive with little things 😛 haha no, just kidding I really had no problems with packing for this trip and I will do a post about how I packed as I am actually pretty bad when it comes to packing for my vacation! I will also tell you how we organized all that etc., but for now I am off to study for my upcoming exams.

See ya soon 🙂

Xx Lo.
