tonight’s one of those nights where I can’t stop thinking about travel so here’s a post about our trip to Mallorca in 2019. I am craving the feeling of adventure and freedom at the moment, but travelling won’t be a thing for us this year since we are starting to build our dream house this summer. Can’t wait!!! I will share some places and restaurants and also some beach clubs with you.
Below you can find some photos from a beach club called “Purobeach Illetas”. This one was also my favourite, but we have been only to this and another one called Folies Beach Club in Magaluf. This one was nice too, but didn’t had direct access to the beach.

We drove around the island – since Mallorca is not that big you can visit all these beautiful small towns. This one is Alcudia located in the north of Mallorca. Another beautiful thing to visit is Cap de Formentor.

This was such an amazing bakery!! I think it is pretty well known. It’s name is Fornet de la Soca (you will find it on Google under this name) / Forn des Teatre.
Restaurante Il Paradiso – the food is good, but not amazing, but the view is just soooo beautiful. See below.
& here you will find probably the best guacamole ever! BAR NICOLAS in Palma. Philipp says it’s almost as good as in Mexico.
Mallorca is such a beautiful island. I really like it there. Unfortunately it is also pretty crowded, but other than that it’s really worth a visit. Since some of Philipp’s family live there we will be there more often also in the future 🙂
I thought I could write a blog post about my favourite island in Thailand – Koh Lipe.
Koh Lipe is a very small island located near the Malaysia border and is really a insider tip.
There are three main beaches: sunset beach (west), sunrise beach (east) and pattaya beach (south). Koh lipe is compared to other islands in Thailand rather quiet in my opinion, but sooo beautiful. I think Koh Lipe had the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Thailand (you can check my other Thailand posts, if you want to know more) This post will be only about Koh Lipe.
There are so many nice hotels you can book there and since it is Thailand they are not that expensive compared to Europe.
You can find here white-sand beaches, turquoise water and colourful coral reefs.
Pattaya beach is the most popular beach with lots of restaurants and bars, also the hot spot if you don’t like it too relaxing.
Sunrise beach probably the most picturesque beach if you ask me.
Sunset beach is a small beach located in the northern part of the island. This part gives you a typical hippie / relaxing feeling.
I was there in 2019 so at that time you already could find some ATM’s but since it’s a very small island (you can literally walk from one point to the other in like no time) better take some cash with you. You can also find two 7 elevens on walking street which is their main street. Koh Lipe is not a typical touristy place compared to other place in Thailand, because there are a lot of people who have never heard about Koh Lipe.
There are some restaurants and bars with such an amazing view. For happy hour you should try out ten moons hotel on sunrise beach. You will get here two cocktails for like 8$ which is just amazing as you can see on my pictures.
If you want to party all night long Koh Lipe just isn’t for you, because only a handful of bars are open past 11 pm. But if you are seeking an island vibe that’s more laidback and would like to get away from the crowds Koh Lipe is the place.
How to get there: since it is Thailand’s southernmost island and near the Malaysian border it is kind of far from Thailand’s main spots. It took as 4 hours with a speed boat from Phi Phi Island. I am not kidding the ride was a hell of a ride for me lol, but it was worth it even when the ride back to Koh Lanta was even worse hahaha. Maybe it would be better to start from Malaysia if you have the chance since it’s closer.
If you like diving you should definitely try it here since the sea is so beautiful here. Also please don’t miss to hike to the viewpoint on Koh Adang that overlooks Koh Lipe (looks so amazing).
I don’t even mention renting a kayak and explore the islands around Koh Lipe. Just check the weather before. You can also talk to some hotel staff for some more insider tips. The staff at “the cliff Lipe” resort was just amazing.
I have used https://12go.asia/de for booking transportation in Thailand, because I have booked everything in advance, but if you are flexible check the prices for transportation on the island itself since it’s cheaper.
I hope I could give you some insights about Koh Lipe – my favourite island in Thailand. I hope to be back some time.
zunächst einmal möchte ich allen ein frohes neues Jahr 2020 wünschen!
Ich bin wirklich eine Katastrophe, wenn es um meinen Blog geht. Es tut mir echt leid, eigentlich nehme ich es mir vor hier öfter zu schreiben, aber teilweise ist man privat so eingedeckt, geht es euch hier genauso?
2019 war eigentlich ein komplett verrücktes Jahr und ich möchte gar nicht näher darauf eingehen – mir fehlt einfach jegliche Inspiration und Motivation zurzeit und ich hoffe, dass es dieses Jahr besser wird.
Eigentlich wollte ich ja noch über Thailand schreiben und euch noch einige Tipps geben, leider kommt das alles natürlich viel zu spät, aber was soll’s 🙂 vielleicht fliegt der eine od. andere bald hin und kann sich hier noch ein paar Tipps holen.
In meinem ersten Post über Thailand geht es ja grundsätzlich eher um Allgemeines. Nun würde ich euch gerne meine genaue Route offenbaren und wie ich damals alles geplant habe bzw. wo wir übernachtet haben etc.
Also wie schon gesagt habe ich damals ja alles im Vorhinein schon gebucht. Den Flug habe ich ca. ein halbes Jahr vorher gebucht und wir sind direkt von Wien nach Bangkok mit der EVA Air geflogen, was ganz ok war. Ich habe mir natürlich über die Route schon lange vorher Gedanken gemacht und dazu viel mit anderen, die bereits dort waren gesprochen und vieles darüber gelesen, deshalb hatte ich ein klares Bild darüber wo ich genau hin will etc.
Rückblickend betrachtet hätte ich eher vor Ort gebucht, was die Reise bestimmt abenteuerlustiger gemacht hätte, jedoch kommt hinzu, dass ich einfach kein spontaner Mensch bin und für eine so kurze Dauer von zwei Woche es sich in meinen Augen einfach nicht auszahlt sich hier großartig auf Überraschungen zu verlassen – würde wahrscheinlich anders darüber denken, wenn ich für zwei Monate dort gewesen wäre.
Also unsere Route sah, wie folgt aus: 2 Nächte in Bangkok, zwei Nächte in Phuket (wobei das nicht geplant war, sondern sich aufgrund des Tropensturms letzten Jänners ergab), dann nur eine Nacht auf Phi Phi Island, weil wir leider um eine Nacht verlängern haben müssen in Phuket, dann vier Nächte auf Koh Lipe (mein Favorit) – dazu habe ich auch einige tolle Fotos für euch, zwei Nächte auf Koh Lanta und zwei Nächte in Ao Nang Beach, Krabi. Ich habe alle Hotels auf booking.com gebucht, weil man hier meist kurz vor Anreise noch stornieren kann, wenn man die Option vorher bucht und man deshalb sehr flexibel bleibt zudem kommt dazu, dass ich ja aufgrund des Sturms eine Nacht auf Phi Phi Island stornieren musste und diese wurde mir dann nicht verrechnet, weil ich vorher mit dem Hotel geschrieben habe und ihnen die Situation erklärt habe. Ich werde euch nachstehenden die Hotels verlinken. Wir hatten auf Koh Lipe und auf Koh Lanta sehr coole Hotels, die auch nicht allzu viel gekostet haben.

Wenn ich noch einmal nach Thailand komme, weiß ich auch, dass meine Route nicht mehr die gleiche wird. Ich würde länger auf Phi Phi bleiben und wohl eher Richtung Koh Samui, Koh Tao gehen.
Wenn man recht seekrank ist empfehle ich es auch eher Richtung Koh Samui zu gehen, denn da hin kommt man mittels Inlandsflug günstig hin und muss nicht per Motorboot hinfahren. Ich habe schon von ein paar Leuten, die öfter bzw. länger in Thailand waren gehört, dass Koh Lipe eines der schönsten Flecken Thailands ist und auch ich muss sagen, mir hat Koh Lipe am meisten gefallen, jedoch war die Fahrt via Motorboot dorthin einfach nur Horror und ich bin nicht seekrank. Das Schlimmste war sogar die Rückfahrt von Koh Lipe nach Koh Lanta, aber wenn man dort hin will kommt man nicht drum herum. Ich will euch hier nicht allzu sehr erschrecken, denn wie schon gesagt hatten wir nicht optimales Wetter und es kann natürlich sein, dass aufgrund des Sturms zwei Tage vorher, das Meer so unruhig war.
Phuket war für mich eigentlich nur so ein Zwischenstopp, um auf die Fähre am nächsten Tag zu warten, aufgrund des Sturms fuhren die Boote halt nicht mehr aus und deshalb mussten wir spontan verlängern. Man kann jedoch von Phuket aus tolle Daytrips machen, wie zum Beispiel auf die Similan Islands, welche traumhaft aussehen, jedoch ich damals gesagt habe, dass ich dort nicht hin will, weil da aufgrund der Massentouristen die Korallen schon absterben und ich da nicht zu beitragen möchte, aber wie gesagt sieht natürlich traumhaft aus – keine Frage.
Phi Phi Island war auch mega touristisch, aber da kommt man in Asien glaube ich sowieso nicht drum rum. Auf Phi Phi waren wir dann leider eine Nacht weniger dort. Wir waren Kajaken, was sich als relativ gefährlich entpuppt hat, da auch hier die Motorboote herumfahren und der Wellengang sehr stark war. Kajaken war also ein richtiger Kraftakt und wir waren sicher um die zwei Stunden auf offener See und kämpften gegen die Wellen an, um nicht gegen die Felsen zu prallen haha. Als wir dann retour waren, war ich eigentlich nur froh, dass nichts Schlimmes passiert ist bis auf eine Verbrennung dritten Grades haha. Wenn man Party machen will ist man auf Phi Phi Island perfekt aufgehoben und auch das Baden macht hier Spaß, da man hier ein paar tolle Buchten findet.
Im nächsten Post werde ich euch erzählen, wo man am Besten essen gehen kann und was man generell so machen kann in Thailand.

Da mir viele von euch auf Instagram geschrieben haben bezüglich meinem Thailand Urlaub, habe ich mir gedacht ich fasse ein wenig was in einem Blogpost zusammen. Es gibt eigentlich so viel zu erzählen, weshalb es wahrscheinlich mehrere Posts werden. Hier werde ich euch ein paar allgemeine Tipps und Infos geben.
Wir bzw. ich haha habe ja den Fehler gemacht und habe alles im Voraus gebucht, was ich beim nächsten Mal nicht mehr machen würde. Ich habe einen relativ günstigen Flug ergattern können, da ich ca. ein halbes Jahr im Voraus gebucht habe, aber ansonsten würde ich Hotels nur mehr vor Ort buchen, weil man dort immer etwas findet und es viel abenteuerlustiger ist 🙂
Btw wir sind mit „EVA Air“ direkt von Wien nach Bangkok geflogen und haben ca. 600€ pro Person bezahlt, was völlig in Ordnung ist meiner Meinung nach. Hotels habe ich alle, wie fast immer über booking.com gebucht.
Als österreichischer Staatsbürger muss man für Thailand kein Visum anfordern, wenn man nicht länger als 30 Tage bleibt, bekommt man bei Einreise einfach einen Stempel und man kann schon weiter.
Geld wechseln braucht ihr eigentlich nicht von zuhause aus machen – man kann problemlos am Flughafen etwas Geld wechseln für die Fahrt ins Hotel und dann vor Ort eigentlich überall Gel wechseln bzw. Geld abheben für eine kleine Gebühr. Der Wechselkurs ist vor Ort meist besser.
Wir haben uns irgendwann einmal einfach eine Simkarte vor Ort gekauft, damit wir Internetzugang haben, um unser Navi zu nutzen – so bekommt man einfach einen besseren Überblick, kann vieles selber ablaufen und man kann sich einen ungefähren Überblick verschaffen, was Taxis od. Tuk Tuks kosten dürfen. 1 € betragen ca. 35 Baht – auf den Inseln sollte man sich auf jeden Fall einen Roller ausborgen. Kostenpunkt ca. 8€ pro Tag.
Rucksack oder Koffer?
Für Thailand empfehle ich euch mit einem Rucksack anstatt mit einem Koffer zu reisen. Haben wir auch so gemacht und würde ich auch beim nächsten Mal wieder so machen, da man in Thailand dennoch sehr viel unterwegs ist, wie z.B. mit Fähren bzw. Motorbooten. Es wäre einfach viel zu anstrengend gewesen einen Koffer überall nachzuziehen bzw. den ständig heben zu müssen. Ein Rucksack ist da einfach viel praktischer. Mädels vergesst High Heels, Make up, Schmuck etc. das ist THAILAND – man benötigt es nicht. Und wenn ihr doch Makeup einpackt sowie ich, welches ich dann eh fast nicht benutzt habe, schaut darauf, dass ihr es gut verpackt, das Gepäck wird nämlich vor allem beim Bootfahren schnell und mit voller Wucht gestapelt – da kann einiges kaputt gehen.
Ist Thailand wirklich so billig, wie jeder sagt?
Jein – also billiger, wie Europa auf alle Fälle – dennoch haben wir für zwei Wochen ca. 500 € pro Person gebraucht. Hier müssen wir jedoch zugeben, dass wir sehr pingelig waren, was das Essen angeht, aber wir hatten zumindest keine Darmprobleme haha. Wenn man das Streetfood essen kann – kann man wirklich recht günstig Urlaub machen in Thailand. Weiters waren hier auch Taxikosten und Ausflüge schon inkludiert. Alkohol fanden wir jetzt auch nicht extrem günstig – aber kommt wahrscheinlich auch darauf an, wo man ist.
Wann sollte man nach Thailand fliegen?
Wir waren ja Anfang Jänner – wo gerade Hochsaison herrscht in Thailand. Trotzdem hatten wir extremes Pech mit dem Wetter, da genau zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein Tropensturm, was normal zu dieser Jahreszeit unüblich ist über Thailand zog. Ich denke, wenn wir besseres Wetter gehabt hätten, hätte es mir viel besser gefallen… Aufgrund des Sturmes war es bei uns ständig bewölkt und das Meer sehr unruhig, was das Bootfahren zu Horrortrips gemacht hat für mich, obwohl ich nicht mal seekrank bin haha. Wenn ich nochmal nach Thailand fliege – dann wohl eher im März / April.
Was sollte man sich erwarten von Thailand?
Meiner Meinung nach ist Thailand eher etwas für Gruppen – klar kann man auch nur zu zweit hin und einen Päärchenurlaub machen, jedoch handelt es sich hier um Thailand, die Backpacker Metropole schlechthin. Man kann hier so viele Leute kennenlernen, Party machen und Abenteuer erleben, was ich irgendwie total lustig finde. Weiters muss ich sagen, haben wir extrem schöne Hotels gehabt zu einem Preis, was in Europa od. USA nie möglich gewesen wäre (mit Whirlpools, Meerblick etc.).
Man muss dazu sagen, dass Thailand sehr chaotisch ist und man vor allem am Anfang extrem abgezockt wird, aber spätestens am zweiten Tag weiß man, wie man zu reagieren hat etc. wir haben in unseren Hotels auch an der Rezeption gefragt, was die ca. für Fahrten verlangen dürfen etc.
Englisch ist nicht unbedingt die Stärke der Thais – entweder sie wollen einen einfach nicht verstehen, oder sie verstehen einen wirklich nicht. Einige gibt es, die wirklich gut sprechen können und ein paar, die dich wiederum nicht mal verstehen haha – daran muss man sich meiner Meinung nach etwas gewöhnen – es läuft hier alles einfach viel chaotischer ab und kann man z.B. mit Österreich keineswegs vergleichen haha.
Zu guter Letzt will ich Euch sagen – seht es euch auf jeden Fall selber an. Jeder empfindet eine Reise natürlich anders. Am Anfang war ich nicht so begeistert von Thailand, aber jetzt im Nachhinein waren gerade diese komischen Dinge und dieser „stressfreie scheissegal“ Lifestyle das Coole daran. Ich würde mir für nächstes Mal wirklich nur besseres Wetter wünschen und auch mal in Hostels schlafen 😀 Ich bereue diese Reise im Endeffekt nicht und würde wieder hinfliegen eventuell sogar etwas länger dort bleiben, da zwei Wochen für 6 verschiedene Orte / Inseln einfach zu stressig waren.
Ich hoffe ich konnte euch ein paar Tipps geben und einen kleinen Überblick verschaffen. Morgen werde ich Euch dann detaillierter über unsere Reiseroute berichten, in welchen Hotels wir geschlafen haben und was wir so unternommen haben. 🙂

Today I will write about some locations in Austria you should definitely visit! Of course you all know about the capital city Vienna. I will write soon a post only about Vienna as I am going to visit my girl Nadja at the end of October since she moved to Vienna lately and I haven’t seen her for a while.
I live in upper Austria and there are also a lot of nice places you can visit around here. Especially cute little towns and a beautiful lakes.
I will split this post because otherwise it will get too long with all the photos. I will pool together the places that are next to eachother 🙂 so that you get a good overview.
First of all I will begin with the „Salzkammergut“.

Heute schreibe ich über meine Lieblingsorte in Österreich, die ihr auf jeden fall besuchen solltet, wenn ihr mal in der Gegend seid! Natürlich kennt ihr alle Wien, aber es gibt viel mehr, als nur die Hauptstadt. Ich werde meine Freundin Nadja Ende Oktober hoffentlich besuchen und dann werde ich Extra Posts über Wien schreiben.
Ich wohne in Oberösterreich, hier gibt es vor allem süße kleine Städte, Berge und Seen zu erkunden.
Ich werde, wie gesagt die Posts splitten, da es sonst zu lang wird mit all den Fotos und ich werde zunächst mal mit der Region, die als das „Salzkammergut“ bekannt ist beginnen.
Gmunden – Traunsee
You can go for a walk in Gmunden with a nice view oft he Traunsee, perfect to take some beautiful shots. Here you have also some good restaurants, bars or cafés. In summer it is extra nice since you can rent a boat and explore the lake on your own. You can also go swimming which is pretty cool. You can also go hiking at the „Grünberg“ which is not that difficult and you can also take kids with you or your dog. The „Traunstein“ is more for the more experienced hikers. You can also go to the „Schloss Orth“ which is kind of a castle, only very small. Couples can get married here. It is a nice background for photos as well and there is also a café here.
Gmunden hat eine echt schöne Aussicht zu bieten, die sich vor allem für Instafreaks, um paar schöne Bilder zu schießen sehr gut anbietet 😛 Im Sommer kann man sich hier ein Motorboot ausborgen und dann kann man den See auf eigene Faust erkunden. Natürlich kann man auch an heißen Sommertagen in den See springen. Hier gibt es natürlich auch ein paar gute Restaurants und Cafés. Das Schloss Orth befindet sich wiederum an der Esplanade. Dort befindet sich auch das Standesamt – zumindest kann man dort heiraten, was auf Fotos natürlich sehr schön aussieht mit dem „Schloss“ im Hintergrund. Wer lieber sportlich unterwegs ist und grade gar keinen Bock auf heiraten hat oder so kann entweder den Grünberg bezwingen, der auch für nicht so sportliche Personen, wie mich zu schaffen ist. Für richtige Wanderer ist eher der Traunstein interessant.

Almsee or Lake Alm
Is located in the Almtal valley. You will need a car or a bike to get there, but the lake looks very nice, clear and sometimes even mystic – nice to shoot some photos there and also vey nice for a walk. I wouldn’t recommend to swim in this lake tho as the lake is extremly cold even in summer! It’s like the coldest like I’ve been in so far.
Almsee liegt im Almtal und ist mit dem Auto ganz leicht auffindbar. Der See ist riesengroß und total sauber. Genial für Hobbyfotografen! Ich finde auch bei Schlechtwetter, sieht’s hier toll aus, total mystisch und so. Der See ist zum Baden weniger geeignet, da er auch im Sommer extrem kalt ist, für mich ging das gar nicht, war kurz drin und war kurz vorm verrecken hahaha. Also eher nur für ‘nen Spaziergang gedacht.
Hallstatt
Hallstatt is the classic among Asians, but it is really a cute town you will definitely like it here as well hehe. Very nice panorama. Great for photography as well – so if you are a hobby photographer this place is great for you. Here you have cute little restaurants and cafés. Souvenir shops and grocery stores are opened on Sundays which is not usually in Austria, but Hallstatt is a very touristic town that’s why. In smaller cities you won’t find shops opened on a Sunday. You can go to Hallstatt by trian from Attnang-Puchheim and enjoy the view from the train.
Hallstatt – der Klassiker unter den Asiaten, aber nicht nur Asiaten gefällt es hier, es ist wirklich eine ganz niedliche Stadt und wie schon erwähnt für Hobbyfotografen zu denen ich mich auch schon zähle, ein perfektes Plätzchen. Hier haben kleine Shops und Lebensmittelgeschäfte auch sonntags geöffnet, da hier auch an Sonntagen viel lost ist. Man kann von Attnang-Puchheim ganz leicht mit dem Zug anreisen od. man fährt mit dem Auto her je nachdem. Man bereut es bestimmt nicht, sich diese süße Stadt anzusehen, die unter UNESCO Schutz steht.

Langbathseen
Another lake which is also situated in the Salzkammergut. There you will find two mountain lakes which are also very nice. You can go swimming and diving on hot summer days. The water is here also pretty clear and has some interesting colors.
Hier gibt es den Vorderen und den Hinteren Langbathsee, wobei ich nie ganz kapiere bei welchem ich mich gerade aufhalte hahaha, trotzdem sind beide ziemlich sauber und die Seen schimmern immer in sehr interessanten Farben von grün bis türkis. Ich finde es hier im Sommer, sowie im Winter ganz schön! Zum baden geht es an ganz heißen Sommertagen, da Naturseen die auch noch so weit oben gelegen sind, wie die Langbathseen sehr kalt sein können, aber wie gesagt, wenn es wirklich heiß ist – geht’s.
Attersee and Nixenfall
Last but not least another lake it is called the „Attersee“ and it is probably the most famous and best known lake in upper Austria. There are always many tourists in the summer especially the first and second week of August is full of Germans here haha. A lot of them go camping. You can also go diving here and swimming. There is the bathing place which is called „Litzlberg“ where especially young people go – there you will find a beach volleyball field and also a bar and toilets. Sailing and boat trips are also very popular among Austrians. From there you can visit the “Nixenfall”, which is a kind of a mini waterfall – but looks very nice, see my pictures below.
Zu guter letzt der Attersee, der wahrscheinlich beliebteste See Oberösterreichs. Im Sommer ist er sehr Touristenüberhäuft, vor allem sehr viele Deutsche machen sich auf dem Weg, um hier zu campen. Aber wie gesagt, der See ist sehr sauber und eignet sich zum Baden sehr gut. Der ist etwas wärmer wie die bereits genannten Seen und ist deshalb auch beliebter, denke ich mal. Vor allem junge Leute treffen sich hier in „Litzlberg“, wo man Beachvolleyball spielen kann und schwimmen gehen kann. Der Attersee ist auch bei Taucher sehr beliebt. Vom Attersee aus ist der Nixenfall nicht allzu weit weg, auch hier zahlt sich ein Besuch hin aus!

Hello peeps, so as I told you Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe. Barcelona includes beach, clubs, food and entertainment, so it never gets boring. This year was my second time in Barca and I definitely will go back soon as there is still so much to do there hehe.
So as I already said I was there two times now and I will put everything together what I know and which may be interested for you too if you decide to go there.
Of course I have still not seen everything I wanted! Next time I’d like to rent a car and to drive around Barcelona and also to lLoret de Mar for a beachparty haha 😀 or so 😛 at the end I will write a list with things I’d still like to do in Barca, but haven’t done yet.
1) Wander around La Boqueria
La Boqueria is really something special. There is a huge selection of various groceries such as fish or nuts. But I was especially impressed by the huge selection of sweets, fresh juices and various kinds of fruits and vegetables. It just looks so amazing and it is actually not that expensive compared to Austrian prices. You will find La Boqueria Mercat at Las Ramblas which is kind of the centre and there you have also a lot of restaurants and shops when you walk down the Ramblas. There are also some hotels.
2) Visit Park Güell
One of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona is Park Güell. It is especially great for running or doing some sports. But also for not so athletic people like me HAHA you have a great sea view from there and you can take some nice photos, I think when the sun goes down it must look really nice from up there. Park Güell is definitely worth a visit. The architecture of this park is also really interesting. The houses here look like gingerbread houses to me Idk why HAHA but looks pretty yummy hahaha when you ask me.
3) EAT!
There are lots of restaurants and lots of different dishes you can try in Barca, have dinner and Sangria at the beach (which can get a bit expensive), or go to W Hotel for a dinner. But you can also find in every corner a “Mercado” where you can get a warm baguette for example for 50 cent haha 😀 which is awesomeeeeeeee 😀 of course you have a big variety on fruits and healthy stuff. In Barca you get literally everywhere and at anytime FOOD which is perfect 😛
4) Watch the sunset at Barceloneta Beach
The most beautiful beaches in Barcelona are actually a bit outside of the city. Nevertheless, Barceloneta Beach is especially beautiful during sunset. The sky there shines in beautiful pastel colors.
5) Go to the beach – anytime
Either you go for a swim or just to chill and drink a mojito or in the evening before going out it’s always pretty cool and the ambiance is pretty nice. I found out that the water is clearer near the W Hotel than there where the clubs are located, obviously people also throw a bit of trash there when drunk which won’t happen near the W Hotel in my opinion.
6) Watch a soccer game of FC Barcelona
I am not a big fan of soccer, but the atmosphere was extraordinary haha really cool 😀 the Catalonians love their soccer team the stadium was full of people I think almost 100.000 people!! After the game we didn’t get a taxi so we had to walk for hours .. make sure to organize all that when heading to a match.
7) Visit La Sagrada Familia
Very nice church from the inside, if you are interested in architecture and sightseeing, give it a try. The sun peeks thru all those beautiful colored windows hehe 🙂
8) Go to park de la ciutadella
Also a very nice park for a walk 🙂 looks very interesting 😀 don’t know the purpose of this park though haha
9) Go to clubs and bars
the Catalonian nightlife is crazy 😀 just be careful, such clubs such as “Pacha”, “Opium” etc. are very expensive. We were at club “Danza” which is also located at at the beach, but was pretty ok not too expensive and music also quite good 😀 and this year we also got the chance to go to the club “Eclipse” at the W Hotel in Barcelona. There you have a pretty nice view of the beach.

What about you? Have you ever been to Barcelona? And if so how did you like it and what were your favorite spots in Barcelona?
If you are going to Paris there are plenty of things you can do, but if you are only for a short time there like I was (2 days only) it is a bit stressful, but of course there are some things which you should do! Paris is such a photogenic city and so lovely, but in my opinion only in the centre. Out of Paris it’s not that perfect, but which megacity is it? I also wouldn’t consider Paris as the city of love – I don’t know in summer it just felt like there were millions of people everywhere which is not that romantic in my opinion, but everyone sees things different. But of course for taking photos it is really the perfect spot. Well this was not my last time in Paris that’s for sure! 🙂 as I’m dreaming of a wedding proposal on the Eiffel Tower someday HAHA 😀
Well now let’s talk about what I was doing while in Paris 😛 hehe
OF COURSE you have to go up on the Eiffel Tower, well let’s say take the elevator haha you can also use the stairs, but it is quite exhausting, so make sure you are in a good condition not like me hehe & if you are afraid of heights I also would use the elevator anyway there are always a lot of people, but the view by night is just awesome and totally worth it. Make sure to book in advance otherwise you will have to wait in the line for a loooong time! Before you enter the line I took a pic with my gopro in front of the Eiffel Tower from below. I thought I will just try it because I haven’t seen it on screen until we got home, but it ended up pretty nice as you can see. From below I also took only a pic of the Eiffel Tower which I edited a lil bit, but I think it looks so cute with all the stars haha
Next to the ‘Pont d’Iéna’. You can take pictures with trees from the street or walk down and take pictures from the river level Like here:
The best spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower is the “Palais du Trocadéro” in my opinion. For taking nice photos like fashion pics, or couple pics or something 🙂 and it’s for free, but in summer there were like Thousands of people haha
If you have some extra money left haha joke it’s not that expensive, buy a ticket to enter on top of the Arc de Triomphe and go upstairs … the view from there is also amazing and you get to see also the Champs Elysees, but there are also A LOT OF STAIRS haha and it is very narrow so make sure you bring a bottle of water with you not to feel dizzy.
Walking down the Champs Elysees is soo nice as all the stores there look so neat and cute and all those designer stores OMG just way too beautiful. In all those alleys you will find a lot of restaurants. We had a pizza which was quite expensive, but that’s normal in the centre of Paris particularly next to the Champs Elysees, but I was on vacation and hungry and the Pizza was very delicious so never mind. I don’t like thinking about money when on vacation as I like to enjoy every minute 😛
Walk to the “Pont Neuf” which means new bridge, but actually it’s the oldest non renovated one in Paris above the river “Seine” there you will also find all the love locks 😛 and if you go there as a couple mount one too on the bridge. Hehe probably most of those people are not even a couple anymore, but you will forever be reminded as one on an old bridge 😀
We also visited the Louvre but haven’t entered the museum as we booked it in advance on “getyourguide” which always worked great for me, but in Paris not at all. So we spent like 70€ 2 persons for entering the Louvre museum, but didn’t got our tickets immediately so to cut a long story short we couldn’t get in as we didn’t found the ticket seller because it was described very complicated in my opinion.
To end the day properly I liked chilling in a hammock on our balcony and watching the sunset, with a view on the Sacre Coeur.

There are a lot of things you can do in Berlin, but here are some things I did and I think you shouldn’t miss when in Berlin.
1) Buy a ticket for the “S-Bahn” for your entire stay and drive around as much as you can. You can also walk a lot since everything is quite in the centre, well of course it depends on where you are situated, but buy only the zones A and B since C is already far from the centre you won’t need it.
2) Visit the Brandenburg Gate – by day and by night! Hehe and take photos of course.
3) Chill at the Berliner Dome enjoy the atmosphere, very nice in the summer at the fountain.
4) Visit the “Reichstag” Building and ask old Italian women to take photos haha 😀 they will do so but in the end they didn’t took any picture.
5) Have coffee and cake at the Radisson Blu Hotel and don’t think about the bill just admire the aquarium.
6) Visit Checkpoint Charlie and take photos with the fake soldiers and get some kisses hahaha. FAIL 😛
7) Don’t forget to check out the Berlin wall, or the rests of it. 😛
8) Go through the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and hold a minute of silence.
9) Visit the Pirates Bar in Berlin, I had some drinks there, but the food looked also very good.
10) Visit Kreuzberg – and when you are there eat a Kebap at “Mustafas Gemüsekebap” – Thank me later.
11) Go to the mall of Berlin.
12) EAT! You can find so much delicious food in Berlin haha
13) Go to the “Berliner Biersalon” at Kurfürstendamm and drink a “Berliner Kindl” Beer – I like the green one the most.
14) Check out the “Fernsehturm” – if you want you can also go up and enjoy the view.
15) Go shopping. In Germany the prices are lower than in Austria 😉
